Little Masterpieces explores art through the lens of the Great Masters, including Iconic artists like Monet, Picasso, Cezanne, and more. Students not only delve into the history of art but also engage in hands-on projects that recreate the techniques of these legendary figures.

Spring Art workshop is inspired by Lewis Caroll’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and the iconic illustrations of John Tenniel:

  • Monday to Wednesday Acrylic on Canvas – Join us for a whimsical journey as we paint “The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party” where you’ll conjure delectable cakes, delicate percaline cups and tea pots, flying cards and enchanting hats.
  • Wednesday Ink & Watercolour – Explore the magic of the ‘Rabit hole falling effect’ capturing the dreamlike descend into wonderland.
  • Thursday & Friday: Clay Sculpture – Sculpt an enchanting cat perched on wooden tree stump, inspired by the mischievous Cheshire Cat.
  • Monday 24th March to Friday 28th March (Age 7 to 14))
  • Timing: 9.00am to 11.00am or 11.30am to 1.30pm

Winter Art Workshop

Little Masterpieces explores art through the lens of the Great Masters, including Iconic artists like Monet, Picasso, Cezanne, and more. Students not only delve into the history of art but also engage in hands-on projects that recreate the techniques of these legendary figures.

Winter workshop techniques include:

  • Do you wanna paint a Snowman?
  • Acrylic on canvas, creating a winter scene inspired by Swedish master Anton Genberg.
  • Clay sculpture: Crafting an evergreen conifer using sculpting tools. Water color techniques inspired by the masterpiece ‘Train in Snow’ by Claude Monet.
  • Monday 16th December to Friday 20th December
  • Timing: 9.00am to 11.00am or 11.30am to 1.30pm

Mid Term Art Workshop

Little Masterpieces studies art from the angle of the Great Masters such as: Monet, Picasso, Cezanne etc. Students learn about the history of art as well as recreating the techniques inspired by famous Masters.
Techniques being taught over the workshop Include:
  • A Scary Night on canvas inspired by Van Gogh’s ‘A Starry Night’.
  • Self Portraits inspired by Illustrator and movie maker Tim Burton.
  • Clay/Wood: Gargoyles of Notre Dame.
  • Autumn scene, with pencil sketching and watercolour techniques.

Techniques being taught over the workshop Include: Maxican Folk Art on canvas inspired by Frida Kahlo. Jelly Fish clay sculptures inspired by German artist Ernst Haeckel. Tropical summer watercolour techniques.

Little Masterpieces studies art from the angle of the Great Masters such as: Monet, Picasso, Cezanne etc. Students learn about the history of art as well as recreating the techniques inspired by famous artists.Techniques being taught over the workshop Include: The Art of Japanese Master: Hokusai (Mixed Media/collage techniques on canvas), Observational Drawing/Watercolour skills, inspired by the Hyperrealist art of Dennis Wojtkiewicz.
